Housing Options & Planning Enterprises, Inc. provides housing and credit counseling to consumers on seeking, financing, maintaining,  or owning a home.

The Housing Counseling Program supports the delivery of a wide variety of housing counseling services to homebuyers, homeowners, and low-to moderate-incomer renters.  The primary objectives of the program are to expand homeownership opportunities and improve access to affordable housing.  

Our goal is to enable anyone who wants to (or already does) rent or own housing-whether through HUD program, a Veterans Affairs program, other Federal programs, a State or local program, or the regular private market- to get the counseling they need to make their rent or mortgage payments and to be a responsible tenant or owner in other ways.

The counseling program helps to ensure that new homebuyers remain in their homes; with post-purchase counseling to help families pay their bills on time, perform basic home maintenance, and make their mortgage payments.
